The Problem.
In this day and age, parents are less connected to their children's academic lives. Parents are busy trying to provide for their family, and leave the academic rearing of their children entirely up to school administration.
Our Solution.
We’ve crafted an android application, along with this accompanying website, to help parents become more involved in their children's lives. With this app, parents are able to check what homework assignments and assessments are coming up. Additionally, in order to stay on top of the college prep process, parents will be able to keep track of the deadlines for college applications and schoolarships.
Future updates
In the future, we would like to implement web scraping capabilities and Voice over IP so that parents can communicate with teachers even through their busy schedules.
